Kayak the tranquil waters of the Huon River. Journey at a gentle pace around Egg Island. Relax and enjoy some of the best scenery the Huon Valley has to offer as you learn about the rich cultural and natural history of the area. Soak up the beauty while we share a tasty morning tea on the river. On returning to Franklin relax and enjoy lunch and cider tasting at the award winning Franks Cider Bar and Café.
When: Meet 9.30am. 2 1/2 hour tour finishing at 12pm in Franklin for lunch.
Where: Huon River between Franklin Marine and the Living Boat Trust
What: Please wear warm comfortable clothing, bring sunhats or beanies appropriate for the weather (often both!). A water bottle and a camera/phone are optional, dry bags can be provided.
