Travel back in time on our Recherche Bay kayaking tour and experience a magical and informative journey through the beautiful setting of Recherche Bay and the D’entrecasteaux River. Follow in the footsteps of the early French explorers during their visit to Recherche Bay and learn about the colourful stories of the early convicts and whalers and settlers. This full day flat water tour travels through the protected waters of Recherche Bay and explores the lower reaches of the D’entrecasteaux River.

When: 9 am. Six hour tour returning at approximately 3 pm.

Where: Catamaran boat ramp

What: Please wear warm comfortable clothing, bring sunhats or beanies appropriate for the weather (often both!). Bring a water bottle.  If you wish to bring tour camera/phone, dry bags can be provided.
