We have created an adventure for you to get out into nature with our local tour guide and experience the best Collie has to offer. This tour is perfect for a couple, best friends or a small group of 4. Your private tour will start with being collected from your accommodation, along the way we can grab a morning coffee and we meander out to the river past some of the murals on the out skirts of town. A short drive to the paddle location, we discover the tranquil water of the Collie River. The river is generally calm with no swell or tides and is lined by majestic Jarrah and Marri trees, our local guide will take you along a pristine section of the Collie River.
The bush surrounds you as you float along in peace, at times the only reminder you have company is when you hear the sounds of the red tail cockatoo’s calling, if your lucky you may see a fresh water turtle or mussels that can be found in the Collie River. After the paddle we will return to the old rowing shed, light refreshments and you can choose to have a dip or return to your accommodation to freshen up if you wish. We then collect you direct from you accommodation and depart for Harris River Estate, the scenic way, taking in the township of Collie and some of the murals that are on the outskirts of town. Upon arriving at Harris River Estate, greeted with a Gourmet Platter, wine or gin tasting.
We have time to linger and enjoy the views over the winery then you will be transferred back to your accommodation to enjoy the afternoon.
What do you need to bring – for the kayaking – be prepared to get a little wet! a towel which you can sit on, thongs, sunscreen, hat, water bottle and bathers if you wish. A change of clothes for the visit to Harris River Winery, you may wish to freshen up or have a swim and change. dress up or Casual dress for the winery, so you are comfortable.
