Your journey begins with a scenic walk to one of Sydney’s most iconic coastal lookouts, followed by a relaxed gourmet picnic by the sea. In the afternoon, take part in a guided Aboriginal bush tucker walk through native bushland, where you’ll learn about the traditional uses of local plants for food, medicine, and culture.


This thoughtfully curated experience highlights the natural beauty, cultural richness, and ecological significance of the Northern Beaches, and supports local Indigenous-led tourism initiatives.



Itinerary


8:30 AM – Pick-up from Sydney CBD

Meet your private guide and depart in luxury air-conditioned transport from your accommodation, airport, or cruise terminal. Travel north through the leafy suburbs to the stunning coastline of the Northern Beaches.


10:00 AM – Barrenjoey Lighthouse Walk & Ocean Views

Begin your day with a 2.5 km return walk through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park to the historic Barrenjoey Lighthouse at Palm Beach. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, spot native wildlife, and learn about the cultural and natural history of the area—including stories behind Home and Away’s famous “Summer Bay” setting.


Note: This walk can be shortened or adjusted for those who prefer a more relaxed sightseeing experience.


12:00 PM – Picnic-Style Lunch at Whale Beach

Unwind with a thoughtfully prepared picnic lunch in a coastal park setting overlooking Whale Beach. Enjoy seasonal produce and fresh local flavours while soaking up the salty sea breeze. (Dietary needs can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking.)


1:30 PM – Aboriginal Bush Tucker Experience (Narrabeen Lagoon)

Travel a short distance to meet your First Nations guide from Bush to Bowl, a 100% Aboriginal-owned social enterprise. Enjoy a one-hour guided bush walk through native bushland surrounding Narrabeen Lagoon. Learn about the traditional uses of native plants for food, medicine, and tools. This is an interactive, educational, and respectful introduction to Aboriginal culture and connection to Country.


3:30 PM – Return to Sydney

Depart Narrabeen and enjoy a comfortable drive back to your accommodation or other preferred drop-off point in the CBD.

Bookings are refundable until 14 days prior to the tour, within 14 days – 48 hours a 50% cancellation fee will apply, 48 hours – 0 hours incurs a 100% cancellation fee. Our tours operate in all weather, however if a severe weather warning is in place, we will offer either a change of date, change of location where possible or a full refund.
