For same day hire bookings… Please consider calling us – please call us if you are unsure you have left enough time for us to accommodate your hire. We have walk-ins at our shop all the time but we may have hired all the boards out. Call us to check! If you wish to hire and you have trouble acquiring the time you want online, then please call to book it in. 

Hire a top quality paddle board for 2 hours and explore the myriad of waterways through Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, & Southport. Our friendly instructor will go over the basics to get you up and paddling in no time, teaching you more about paddle technique and turning. Learn quicker this way and enjoy the art of paddling more. 

We provide you with a paddle plan and let you know how long it should take you to paddle there and back. You can get started after a safety briefing and maybe a quick photo before you go explore! 

Stop off on the beaches along the way for a swim or simply a rest and enjoy the best of the Gold Coast area. Perhaps spot a dolphin pod or a turtle among the abundance of marine life we have here in the river. Cruise to Macintosh Island & walk through the park and get up close and personal to the local birdlife. 

Whether you are paddling past the high-rises & mansions of Surfers Paradise or meandering through the mangroves witnessing the beauty of the area at hand you will enjoy our area of Paddling. We love it and we know you will too!

To allow the activity to start on time please complete this QR Code waiver prior to arriving for your Lesson/Tour/Hire. This form is compulsory and failing to disclose some of this information may put yourself, fellow participants or the instructors at risk.  


If you do have any previous injuries or medical conditions please consult your medical practitioner prior to the Lesson/Tour and address any issues directly with the instructor at the start of the Lesson/Tour. 


See attached QR Code for you to fill out the waiver. If for some reason you are unable to fill out the form, you can also do this at the shop prior to your experience with a QR code displayed on wall.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participants will learn general knowledge of paddling to hire boards. No prior experience necessary, all participants will be required to do a short basic knowledge introduction all included. If the participant has a low swimming ability, they must wear a life vest for safety (at an additional cost). We have storage for small items of value whilst hiring. The participant’s drivers licence or credit card will be held at our shop for security deposit. Anyone aged 5+ can participate; we suggest having younger children (8years old or younger) share a board with a parent or guardian. There are rules that must be adhered to as sometimes the tide can be strong and children, alone by themselves, may be at risk. Minimum hiring age is 18, if a person under the age of 18 is hiring from Go Vertical they must have a parent or guardian come with them to sign waivers.
