This unique location offers one of the most reliable and sheltered whale watching environments in Western Australia, combining calm waters with stunning coastal scenery and incredible wildlife encounters.
Warm, Comfortable & Family-Friendly
Whale watching should be enjoyable for everyone—and comfort makes all the difference.
Step aboard Alison Maree, our purpose-built 23m catamaran, designed for local conditions. Move freely between spacious outdoor decks and a warm, enclosed cabin, giving you the best of both worlds.
- Warm indoor cabin with comfortable seating
- Wide, stable decks for unobstructed viewing
- Safe design with high railings for families
- Modern onboard bathroom facilities
- Access to the Captain’s Lounge
Whether you prefer to stay warm inside or out on deck close to the action, you’re always well positioned.
The Experience
From May to early August, Augusta becomes a natural resting point along the whale migration.
Humpback whales pass close to shore, often breaching and playing, while Southern Right whales can be seen resting calmly in the bay—sometimes with calves.
Every day is different, but that’s what makes it real.
You may also encounter dolphins, New Zealand fur seals, and a variety of seabirds throughout your journey.
Expert Crew & Genuine Connection
Our experienced and friendly crew bring every encounter to life with engaging, informative commentary. With a strong understanding of the local environment and wildlife, each tour is shaped by decades of time on the water—creating a genuine and meaningful experience.
