Experience the best of Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks on this action-packed 3-day 4WD camping adventure from Darwin. Discover ancient rock art, cruise through crocodile-filled billabongs, swim in spectacular waterfalls, and explore some of the Northern Territory’s most iconic landscapes.
Day 1 begins with pickup from Darwin before travelling towards Kakadu National Park. Cruise Corroboree Billabong to spot crocodiles and birdlife, then continue to the famous Ubirr rock art site for incredible views across the Nardab floodplains and Arnhem Land. In the evening, settle into your safari camp in the heart of Kakadu and relax around the campfire after dinner.
Day 2 is all about waterfalls and adventure. Swim at Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) after a scenic bushwalk through paperbark forest, then continue to Gunlom Falls where natural infinity pools overlook southern Kakadu. If conditions allow, visit the remote Ikoymarrwa (Moline Rockhole) before spending the night near Litchfield National Park.
Day 3 takes you through the highlights of Litchfield National Park. Visit the impressive Cathedral and Magnetic termite mounds before cooling off at Buley Rockhole, Florence Falls, and Wangi Falls. After a full day exploring Litchfield’s waterfalls and swimming holes, return to Darwin in the evening.
